Piano concert benefits Nurse Managed Centers

Pianists Greg Maroney (pictured) and Michael Dulin presented an April 30 concert to benefit York College’s Nurse Managed Wellness Centers and nursing students. Located at five sites in the City of York, the Nurse Managed Wellness Centers are a collaborative effort of the York College Department of Nursing and the York City Housing Authority. The Housing Authority provides space for the Centers at each location, while York College students, under the guidance of a clinical faculty member, provide health information and services to economically disadvantaged and medically underserved residents.

According to event organizer and Associate Professor of Nursing Karen March, the event provided more than $2,000 for the Wellness Centers.
