This biannual exhibition features the work of senior art majors in their final semester of study at York College. Fine art and graphic design majors present thematically cohesive bodies of work showcasing the skills and techniques they have acquired at the College before leaving the program to pursue careers as professional artists and designers.

The students work collectively during their final semester to refine their creative vision and learn to present themselves and their work in a professional manner. This process culminates with the exhibition of their work and the portfolio presentations, where the students will present brief public lectures on the subject, content and style of their work.

Fine art participants include David A. Bubb from Manchester, Pa., whose work is a commentary on both the fragility of man and the unshakable qualities of the human experience; Evan J. Kolakowski from Middletown, N.J., whose work blends an abstract expressionist style of painting with bold, contour line graffiti-inspired illustrations; and Caroline Smith from Bowie, Md., whose experimental mixed media work pushes the boundaries of what one might consider photography.

Graphic design participants include Megan E. Harbold from York, who created an interactive website that allows viewers to help or hinder the life of the animated character, Gilroy; C. Maxwell Dell IV from Catonsville, Md., who created a fictional soccer company that produces custom themed soccer balls; Amanda K. Wagner from Bel Air, Md., who created a fictional company that makes products to inspire children to enjoy and connect with the outdoors; and Kathy M. Schreefer from Bethlehem, Pa., who created a company that hand-packages and sends baked goods to homesick college students.
