The York College Women’s Business Center Organization (WBCO) will present a luncheon workshop, “Defining Leadership,” at 11:30 a.m., Dec. 1, in Alumni Hall in the West Campus Community Center. Laura Schanz, president and senior consultant of Laura Schanz Consulting Associates of Lititz, will help those who attend define their leadership style as positive, productive, and focused on others.
The cost to attend the workshop is included in the annual WBCO membership. The fee for nonmembers is $20 payable with advance registration, which is required by Nov. 24. Laura Schanz began work on her consulting firm on Oct.1, 2005. Her area of emphasis is on providing value driven solutions for clients in the areas of consulting, coaching and communication. She graduated from Elizabethtown College in December 2006 with a degree in business administration.
The Women's Business Center Organization was established in 2007 as an initiative of the J.D. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship at York College.
